Maariv reports on the conference yesterday held in the Knesset, arranged by the Joint Arab List against the occupation entitled “Annexation laws: from creeping to running”.

Maariv reports Shas Chairman Aryeh Deri’s comments that: “There has been a severe incitement campaign in the last few days against the Haredi public and the Haredi parties, a campaign of disinformation, as if we had decided to impose an Halachic state and take control of the Western Wall. I want to put things in place—this is a lie. This is an incitement campaign by people who want to dismantle the government.”

Yediot Ahronot continues to report the dispute at Hadassah hospital over the future of the children’s cancer department.  Today they announced that the mediation demanded by the high court has failed.

Haaretz reflect on one year on from the failed coup attempt in Turkey and the mass protests against Erdogan.

Yediot Ahronot also cover environmental damage and a polluted riverbed in the Judean desert as a result of an industrial leak.

Kan radio news reports that Qatar has informed Hamas that as long as no comprehensive solution is found to the crisis between Hamas and the Palestinian Authority (PA), it would no longer pay for supplying electricity to the Gaza Strip.
